New: WHHC class this indoor season

It’s that time of year and the indoor driving season is fast approaching. We’re at Sparsholt College again this year and new for 2016 is a White Horse Harness Club class.

This class is for WHHC members who are NOT Indoor Carriage Driving members (and therefore it won’t get you qualification to the indoor championships at Keysoe)

It’s £35 to enter and is currently running on Saturday 8th October and Sunday 6th November. However, if successful, it’ll be extended for the rest of the season and we’ll break out an overall club indoor champion award.

So, if you’ve never tried indoor driving trials before and want to give it a go, break yourselves in gently and sign up today.

To enter download this form and send your entry to Julia Crockford.

Indoor trials still require you to do a dressage test ‘Precision and Paces’ followed by a cones course. Once all competitors have completed these phases, two obstacles are erected in the arena and you’ll be able to walk them. You’ll then get to drive both obstacles once (1&2), followed by a little break before you get to drive them for a second time (3&4).

Also remember it’s marathon dress all day, drivers and grooms must wear back protectors for all three phases and we’ll also have the burger van on site!

We look forward to seeing you there.
